New for this year - J3 & J4 athletes are asked to provide HEIGHT in inches and WEIGHT in pounds on application. USSA East is collecting this data on all J3 & J4 athletes for purposes of skills assessment & development research.
New for this year - NYSSRA Manual will be mailed to you ONLY if checked “yes” in an effort to reduce costs and “go green.” Mailing Address is where your NYSSRA manual will be mailed. The 2010-2011 NYSSRA Manual is electronically available on website now and will be replaced with 2011-2012 version when it is available.
Online registration is provided through a link with Active.com. You need not be an Active.com Member in order to utilize the NYSSRA online registration.
Active.com suggests using Windows Internet Explorer to enter their online registration service as using other Internet browsers like Firefox, Safari, etc. may not comply. Additionally prior to registering, using your “Internet Tools” to delete your cache (Temporary Internet Files) and cookies may help to expedite the online process.
“Returning Members” means the person registering joined NYSSRA within the last 2 seasons, and “New Member” means not a NYSSRA member for the past 2 seasons, or longer. Members will have current NYSSRA Membership when dues are paid in full. Join before October 15 to avoid being charged a late fee.
Reminder – All prospective coaches will join NYSSRA as OFFICIALS. Upon meeting the NYSSRA Coach Requirements, Coaches will be updated from Official to Coach status, and name will be highlighted green in the current NYSSRA database.
Have member’s USSA # available for NYSSRA registration. If USSA # pending issue, input “A9999999” Please email NYSSRA Member Services lizag@nyssra.org with USSA # when you receive it.
Email addresses and phone #’s should be those of parents (guardians) for the purpose of NYSSRA contacting its younger members.
While completing a member’s registration, Active.com will ask, “Register Another Category” – Click on this box to register another member.
Multiple registrations that would exceed the Family Rate will be capped at the Family Rate in the payment portion of the registration process. In order to take advantage of the Family Rate, all family members need to be registered during the same transaction and payment with Active.com. (i.e. another member cannot be added at a later date to a previous family registration).
Upon completing the online registration process, a confirmation email will be forwarded to your email address confirming your payment. Processing your registration to the NYSSRA database is not automatic and may take up to 7 days to appear in the current NYSSRA Membership list. Refer to the Member Services area of this site.
