All coaches regardless of certification level must earn 4 continuing Education Credits every 2 years to receive a NYSSRA coaches’ card. Credit will be tracked through the NYSSRA office. Decisions regards to awarding credentials will be executed by the Coaches Education Committee which includes Chairperson Steve Mergenthaler, Si Axtell, Bone Bayse, Jim Catalano, Jeff Jenkins, Kathy Okoniewski and Mike Widger.
Strategy A—Open to all USSA Certified Coaches (Regional, National and International)
- Coaches receive 2 credits for teaching a USSA multi day event and 1 credit for teaching a single day NYSSRA event in addition to updating through the Strategy B process.
- Coaches receive 2 credits for teaching a multi day PSIA event.
